Are you starting your finance career and looking for a role that provides hands-on experience in accounts payable? We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our clients team and assist with day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input supplier invoices into the system.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Assist with processing supplier payments.
  • Handle basic invoice queries and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
  • Maintain and update supplier account information.
  • Support with filing and organizing financial documents.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A keen interest in finance or accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (training will be provided).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Prior experience in an office or finance role is a plus but not essential.
