Construction Adhesives - Technical Consultant

We are seeking a Technical Consultant with expertise in Sealants and / or Adhesives to provide exceptional support and training to our client's distributors, customers, and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
Day to Day of the role:
- Plan and support trade mornings, staff training seminars, supplier roadshows, exhibitions, and sales meetings for distributors and sales teams.
- Directly communicate with a wide range of distributors and customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Create and deliver both theoretical and practical seminars at the company training centre or external venues, including product training and tradeshow demonstrations.
- Provide technical support on all aspects of Sealing & Adhesive products, including testing, complaint analysis, product application trials, and evaluations.
- Evaluate potential new products for the UK market and participate in training & installation videos for internal & external clients.
- Document and report on tasks such as product evaluations and testing in a standardised format.
- Provide internal support, including attending meetings, product demonstrations, and offering technical advice for marketing materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A full UK driving license.
- Experience with Sealing & Adhesive products in a technical capacity.
- Excellent self-motivation and time management skills.
- Ability to work outside normal office hours, with frequent overnight stays and limited overseas travel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive and inquisitive approach to providing solutions.
