They require a Warehouse operative with the below skills.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Ensure that the warehouse function within the Dielectric Fluid department maintains the highest level of service to their internal and external customers. Contacts include Production staff, Customer service staff, Accounts staff, Site Services Staff, external transport contacts etc.
- Willing to be flexible to undertake duties within all warehouse locations within the company.
- To receive and dispatch goods in line with the departmental procedures.
- Ensure that goods are dispatched in line with the 'To be Shipped Report' to meet the customer's delivery requirements.
- Preparation of shipping documentation, using the computerised ERP system.
- Arrange the collection of finished goods throughout the UK and Europe.
- Packing and assisting with loading and unloading transportation using FLT.
- Finished goods stock control and responsible for monthly stock takes.
- Adhere to the procedures of the quality system within the Warehouse area.
- Maintain the existing 5s system and take responsibility for own work area.
- Control, organise and document waste materials ready for collection.
- Help promote, support and maintain the Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
About you :
Self motivated to work alone
Good communication skill will be dealing with a variety of customer both internal and external.
Confident telephone manner
Warehouse experience
Computer literate
Numerate
Be able to work to deadlines
Able to lift up to 25kgs
Reliable
FLT C/B Licence is essential.
Working hours hours per week between 07.30hrs - 1530hrs or 0830 - 1630 as per agreed shift pattern
