Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking a Software Tester to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth our client is looking to add a Software Tester to the team, where you will work closely with the IT and Development teams whilst being responsible for ensuring the quality of the software developed meets the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will have experience in manual testing and the creation of test plans, with experience in MS Office programs, C#, SQL and ClickUp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and understanding User Stories and Technical Design documents
- Identify the test scope, create test plans and test cases
- Execute test cases, document defects and liaise with developers
- Work closely with developers, business analysts and stakeholders
- Answer queries raised during testing
- Liaise with the line manager and escalate any defects where necessary
Key Experience:
- Strong analysis and logical problem-solving skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in Java, C#, SQL and ClickUp would be advantageous
- Experience in testing and creation of testing documentation
