What you'll do as Business Development Manager:
The main objective of the role is to identify and convert opportunities to sell the capital equipment produced by the business, building long term relationships within the sector. Separation technologies supplied by our client are high-cost capital equipment items and as such they are looking for someone that is comfortable working on projects with a circa 2 years gestation periods.
Reporting to the UK general manger, you will also have regular contact with managers at the European headquarters in charge of the support to the UK market.
We're looking for a Business Development Manager with:
- Solid experience of post shredder waste streams and an appreciation of sorting / separation technologies.
- Experience of the Industrial Process and Operations at a metal recycling plant (Shredder and Shredder Residue) or downstream metal beneficiation processes.
- Knowledge or experience in metal / recycling processes using magnetic, eddy current, x-ray, optical and other cutting edge sensor sorting / separation technologies?
- A passion for Business Development
- Enjoyment selling high value technical solutions
- Enjoyment creating and building relationships with Customers
Ideal:
- Relevant technical qualifications in a manufacturing or engineering discipline would be desirable, however, relevant "on the job" gained experience will be key.
- Full clean UK driving license.
