This is an outstanding new opportunity for a Software Delivery Manager to work with a strong business in the Norwich area who are experiencing a sustained period of growth.
Reporting to the Head Of IT, in this crucial role, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with Project Managers, Product Leads and Software Engineers to ensure the delivery and effective flow of software product through their development squads.
This will involve you facilitating best practice within development, providing effective reporting for product progress, managing software interdependencies and ensuring product teams are aligned with the wider project strategies. Alongside this you will also own the relationships with 3rd party providers and perform line management duties for some of the more junior developers within the team.
To be successful it is likely you will have:
- A thorough understanding of end to end software product delivery.
- A grasp of software delivery best practice and process.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- The drive to empower others and foster a culture of autonomy within a software environment.
- Although not essential, it would be advantageous if you understand lean process.
