My Client, a local authority based in Reading, are seeking a Customer Fulfilment Centre Officer to join their team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, consistent services to residents, businesses, and partners. Your role will be at the font line of customer interaction, ensuring a comprehensive and customer-focused experience.
Day to Day of the role:
- Provide excellent customer service by offering accurate and current advice.
- Understand customer needs and handle challenging situations with sensitivity.
- Utilise various systems to input and retrieve information, ensuring all requests are logged accurately.
- Engage with customers through multiple channels including face-to-face, telephone, email, and text messaging.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties to support both internal and external customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in Council Tax and Housing Benefits.
- Proven background in a support or help desk function within a customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a wide range of customer enquiries.
- Proficiency in using various computer packages for data entry and information extraction.
