Immediate Start Accounts Assistant

My client is an established Property Management business based in Birmingham, and they have a requirement for some immediate assistance within their Accounts team for a reconciliation project.

Working within a medium-sized finance team, you will report to the Finance Manager and provide some assistance with a backlog of bank reconciliation work including the balancing of financial statements and bank statements to ensure accuracy, monitoring bank activities to identify any discrepancies, and documenting financial transactions.

Skills required:

  • An exceptional attention to detail to accurately identify any discrepancies
  • A strong command of MS Excel
  • Prior experience of bank reconciliation
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and workings of the banking systems
