Small Claims Litigation Handler

Up to £24k

(BR6) and Hybrid Available

As a Small Claims Litigation Handler, you will play a pivotal role in proactively managing a portfolio of cases suitable for litigation through to settlement, acting on behalf of insurance companies to handle and navigate these claims effectively.

What are they looking for?

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Quick learner and team player.
  • Thrives under pressure, maintains attention to detail.
  • Efficiently uses our case management system.
  • Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules for RTA/Motor Insurance Claims is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee small track RTA claims, ensuring proper progression from pre-litigation to settlement.
  • Obtain relevant evidence, review/respond to correspondence within service level agreements, and draft/issue legal proceedings if necessary.
  • Prepare evidence for hearings, instruct Barristers/Counsel, and adhere to court directions and deadlines. Allocate funds post-settlement.

Full time permanent role (9:00 am to 5:00pm) with hybrid working and salary is up to £24,000 DOE plus fantastic benefits.
