Marketing Officer

Reed Marketing and Creative are seeking a Marketing Officer to join a prestigious business in Bristol. This role is crucial in creating, delivering, and evaluating marketing activities and communications that promote the business. With a strong focus on digital marketing, the Marketing Officer will work closely with the Marketing Manager to drive the development of digital engagement strategy.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Implement and develop the business' digital media strategy.
  • Maintain and develop the website, optimising SEO.
  • Coordinate digital content projects and produce engaging short-form video content.
  • Analyse and report on the performance of digital advertising campaigns.
  • Manage social media accounts, ensuring a consistent supply of content.
  • Produce a detailed annual content calendar for social media.
  • Assist with graphic design work and the creation of visual assets.
  • Plan and deliver photographic assets, including ad hoc events and professional photoshoots.
  • Act as a guardian and ambassador of the brand, ensuring consistent adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage marketing collateral stock and source promotional materials as directed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content creation across various formats and channels.
  • Strong experience managing social media platforms for audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with website Content Management Systems.
  • Understanding of data protection principles and safety and security issues in schools.
  • Proficiency in Meta and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient IT skills, including a good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar alternatives
  • Experience with Canva, Hootsuite, and Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable but not essential
