Multi Skilled Operative - Plasterer

£27 an hour, umbrella
Monday to Friday
8am - 4pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Plastering works and relevant trade duties as instructed by the Supervisor, to an excellent standard upon completion.
- Planning and organising workload to maximise productive time, ensuring the best service for customers - dealing with urgent and emergency repairs as far as practicable.
- Identifying repair works that cannot be completed during the visit, providing sufficient details and promptly informing a scheduler/supervisor of any unanticipated problems or delays that could impact appointments for that day.
- Providing regular updates and assisting colleagues with ordering materials, planning and scheduling of work.
- Maintaining and contributing the control of the impress stock and other company property held on any assigned company vehicle, ensuring security, care and appropriate use of stock, tools & materials.
- Using a PDA to keep accurate records of materials, ordering materials and following up on new repair work.
- Provide instructions, feedback and guidance to apprentices and trainees when required.
