Reed Oxford is excited to partner with a client in Central Oxford to recruit a Facilities Assistant. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with customer service experience looking to transition into an office-based position with opportunities for progression.

In this multifaceted and busy role, you will support the smooth running of facilities functions across the Oxford office. Ideal candidates will have recent experience in office administration, facilities, and front-facing customer service.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**

- Serve as the first point of contact for facilities and health and safety issues.

- Liaise with contractors.

- Welcome visitors.

- Conduct inspections and report maintenance issues to the building manager.

- Set up meeting rooms, ensuring equipment is ready and organizing catering.

- Monitor office and kitchen supplies, ensuring stock is updated and maintained.

- Assist with onboarding new starters, ensuring they have all necessary equipment for their first day.

This office-based role runs from 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, and is suited to a dynamic individual eager to support the smooth operation of office facilities and administration and the salary is up to £23,950 per annum.
