Business Support Assistant

We are looking for a Business Support Assistant based in Wrexham. This role is to support the effective day to day running of the department, and provide full administrative support to the team.

Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.

This is a contract running from 10th June until 19th July.

Duties will include:

  • Be the point of contact for internal and external range of contacts in relation to matters pertaining to services provided. To include dealing with visitors, telephone enquiries, and the taking and passing of messages as appropriate.
  • Responsible for collation, input and retention of accurate data and information into electronic and manual department systems.
  • Undertake reception cover as and when required.
  • Setting up new electronic and manual files and systems to include storage, photocopying, archiving and retrieval closed/archived files.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and to assist, as delegated, with the management of email correspondance.
  • Any other duties that may be required within the general scope of the post.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • 5 GSCE's or equivalent experience including English and Maths.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures, policies and organisational frameworks.
