We are seeking a dedicated Refocus Mentor to join our team, providing support and guidance to children and young people with SEMH needs. This role is an opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives, helping them re-engage with education and prepare for their future.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop positive relationships with students to support their educational journey.
  • Utilise strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and staff.
  • Work with secondary age students, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver a high standard of education and care.
  • Demonstrate passion and dedication in creating a positive learning environment for all students.
  • Employ a flexible approach to meet the challenges of the role with a resilient and can-do attitude.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs or other special educational needs.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships and strong communication skills.
  • Relevant experience working with secondary age students.
  • Team-player with a resilient personality and flexible approach.
  • Passion for making a difference in children's lives.
