Your new role
Working on infrastructure schemes along the A47 corridor, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor to join their team based on site. As Quantity Surveyor you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of their projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Main Duties:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports.
- Conduct cost analysis and risk management.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost control.
- Monitor project progress and prepare valuations.
- Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor accounts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide support to project managers and site teams.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector.
- Understanding of NEC4 Contracts
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
