About the Business

An opportunity to be a Graduate Junior Finance Analyst for an excellent service business near Worcester. The business is one of the leading providers in their sector. The company have a large finance function to be a part of, and really look after their staff!

Main Duties:

The job sits within Group Financial Services which is responsible for all aspects of accounting for the Group.

  • Provision of financial and management accounting services
  • Financial analysis, preparation of annual budgets
  • Treasury, tax and VAT management
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Provide financial information to key stakeholders for informed decision-making and business planning.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and adhere to financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial control systems to protect organizational interests.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Contribute to organizational goals through project and change management support.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office and the rest at home with potential for increased flexibility.

The business are based in Worcester, in a fantastic, well equipped, busy office. The company are flexible, large and have plenty of opportunity for growth. Their staff retention is excellent.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Recent background in a comparable finance setting
  • Actively pursuing CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT accreditation
  • Effective communicator, experienced in collaborating with stakeholders and scrutinising value-for-money aspects
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, solve problems, and propose solutions
  • Useful if you are proficient in analytical tools such as SAP, coupled with a robust understanding of financial regulations, legislation, and industry practices
  • Knowledgeable about financial systems
  • Skilled user of Microsoft packages, encompassing Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel capabilities
