Premium Fulfilment, based on Tolpits Lane in Watford, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Warehouse Manager to help us manage and grow our fulfilment centre, assisting ecommerce companies in fulfilling their customers' orders.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist in organising and running our warehouse operations. This role requires a person who can manage staff, work effectively as part of a team, and excel under time-sensitive conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations and ensure timely dispatch of client orders
- Manage and support warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment
- Organise warehouse inventory locations and plan for high-volume deliveries
- Utilise and learn various inventory systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Maintain exceptional communication with clients, their customers, and internal staff, ensuring clarity and transparency at all times
- Exhibit empathy, honesty, and reliability in all interactions and decisions
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
- Detail-oriented and able to perform well under pressure
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
