Secondary College Gym Instructor & PE Support (Immediate Start)

Our Secondary College is seeking a Gym Instructor & PE Support to join our dynamic Physical Education team. This is a full-time, long-term position based primarily in our state-of-the-art college gym, with an immediate start. You may also be asked to help and participate in the Duke of Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the college gym, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Design and lead fitness programs tailored to various student needs and abilities.
- Assist the PE department with general physical education classes and activities.
- Provide one-on-one and group fitness coaching to students.
- Ensure gym equipment is properly maintained and safe for use.
- Support extra-curricular sports and fitness activities when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualifications in fitness instruction, gym management, or a related field (Level 2 Gym Instructor or equivalent).
- Experience working with young people in an educational or fitness setting.
- Passionate about health, fitness, and student wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support the PE department with various activities.
