Supporter Development Executive

Reed are working with a fantastic charitable organisation near Thetford, recruiting for the position of Supporter Development Officer to join the team on a permanent full time basis.

Supporting the fundraising, engagement and communications departments to help promote the work of the charity, developing engagement with supporters and driving new members, enhancing the member experience in consultation with the Head of Engagement.

  • Improving the Member Value Proposition, implementing new strategies
  • Tracking member benefits and usage
  • Create welcome, onboarding and offboarding collateral
  • Improve member communications
  • Relationship management and stakeholder management throughout the business
  • Proofread news and deputise for the Head of Engagement in editorial meetings
  • Provide support to the communications team for social media, press releases and newsletters
  • Supporting with campaigns, recording and analysing effectiveness
  • Drafting online and offline content to reach new members
  • Market research and driving insights
  • Lead on planning, budgeting and delivery of member days and strategic events
  • Work with colleagues to design and produce products and leaflets
  • Development and implementation of marketing elements of member recruitment
  • Look after membership sections of the website

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and forward thinking individual with excellent communication skills, a creative flair and ability to think outside the box. You will be driven with existing experience in a charitable organisation and passionate about making a difference, with experience similar to the role. There is scope for this role to develop, so someone with the right attitude and skills will have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and grow their career.

Package

Salary £28,000- £30,000 (negotiable) plus fantastic benefits, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, 11% pension, employee assistance programme, flexibility with working hours, hybrid working with 2 days from home per week, enhanced family policies, retail discounts, cycle to work scheme and more.
