We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to join our family-owned facilities management business. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service delivery, ensuring client satisfaction, and managing the training and development of our cleaning staff.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conducting site audits and obtaining regular feedback from clients to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
- Building rapport with clients and providing feedback to the management team as required.
- Inducting new starters, ensuring they are fully versed in company procedures, including health and safety.
- Managing the work of Cleaning Operatives, including instructing, supervising, training, and checking standards across all sites.
- Identifying training needs, conducting training sessions, and maintaining records of training completed.
- Managing stock levels and requirements.
- Onboarding new clients and identifying issues, raising concerns through appropriate channels.
- Working a standard 40-hour week with occasional weekend availability (approximately 1 weekend every 4 weeks).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven cleaning experience with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Previous management experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
