This role is essential for developing and maintaining Oracle-based applications, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders and the community.

Oracle Developer – The Role:

The Oracle Developer will be responsible for developing and optimising Oracle applications and databases. This includes writing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code, working with Oracle APEX, developing APIs, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to understand and implement requirements.

Oracle Developer – Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle applications and databases
  • Write and optimise SQL and PL/SQL code
  • Develop applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
  • Develop and maintain APIs to integrate with other systems
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Oracle applications
  • Collaborate with business analysts to gather and understand requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Oracle applications
  • Ensure data integrity and security within Oracle databases
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for software development
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing Oracle applications

Oracle Developer – You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Developer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX)
  • Experience in API development and integration
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Certification in Oracle (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)
