Reed Finance is working with a business based in Glasgow with global operations to recruit a Tax Accountant position. The role is a newly created role due to the acquisition of the organisation. Our client now has the need to create an in-house tax position.
Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant who will oversee and support the business on tax matters. This can range from transfer pricing, tax analysis and reporting, supporting year-end tax processes and supporting the division on the tax control framework.
Our client offers hybrid working arrangements.
The main responsibilities the position entails are:
- Responsible for the organisations tax strategy and process
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the key leaders across the business
- Support planning and forecasting processes from corporation tax and transfer pricing perspective
- Review of transfer pricing framework, documentation and processes
- Review and approval of corporation tax returns
- Tax training provided to the wider finance teams
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:
- Fully qualified accountant (CTA or CA)
- Previous experience working in a similar tax role
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders
- Sound working knowledge of corporation tax
