Damp Mould & Condensation Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Damp, Mould & Condensation Technician to join our dedicated Repairs and Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient and customer-focused service addressing damp, mould, and condensation issues in our properties. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining standards and ensuring tenant satisfaction.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out mould remediation and related applications in accordance with specifications and building regulations.
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship and completing repairs promptly, striving for a 'Right First Time' approach.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work completed.
  • Providing excellent customer service, protecting tenant belongings during work, and ensuring a clean work environment.
  • Conducting risk assessments before work commencement to ensure safety for yourself and others.
  • Managing and securing your tools, vehicle, and other equipment responsibly.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A full UK driving license.
  • Previous experience related to mould removal, fungal washes, and general maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for construction work.
  • A flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of the job.
  • A commitment to delivering a reliable, high-quality service.

  • Salary: £26,862 per annum - Band 5
  • 27 days annual leave (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays
