As a Work Planner, you'll ensure our responsive repairs service is both efficient and effective, meeting customer needs by orchestrating the day-to-day operations of our Internal Repairs Team. Your role is crucial in keeping our service running seamlessly.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as the key liaison for colleagues, repairs operatives, and customers on the day of appointment.
  • Utilise our dynamic scheduling system to ensure all appointments are met efficiently.
  • Monitor, schedule, and reschedule operatives' workloads to keep everything on track.
  • Address any issues that arise on appointment days and keep customers informed every step of the way.
  • Maintain clear and precise records across all systems used.
  • Ensure the workflow runs smoothly with minimal disruption to customers and operatives.
  • Ensure all jobs are closed correctly, reflecting accurate positions in the system.

This position is full time working 36.5 hours per week between 8.30am and 6pm on a rota basis.

What we're looking for

  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with dynamic appointment and workforce scheduling systems.
  • Proven experience in planning and arranging works or services within set timescales and deadlines.

Experience with housing maintenance, external contractors and internal repairs teams would be beneficial, but these aren't essential criteria.
