Your new company
A well known business on the outskirts of Bath ( Radstock side) are looking to appoint a commercially minded qualified / part-qualified accountant to provide support to the day-to-day finance function and deliver timely management accounts.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Produce monthly management accounts and KPI analysis
- Journals, Accruals & Prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed Asset register
- Manual Billing for certain contracts and reconciliations
- Reporting of month-end performance to Head of Finance and Performance including P&L review and variance analysis
- Sales Ledger and Revenue reconciliations
- Aged debt analysis and process actions required
- Create forward-looking budgeting models and feed into the Group budgeting process
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations
- Support for external audit
- Adhoc reporting and data mining
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- AAT Qualified
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA part qualified
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced IT and Excel skills and confident with large volumes of data.
- Comfortable and experienced with working with different stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and forward-thinking.
