Finance Assistant
Salary: 24-28k

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate with other departments, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and contributing significantly to the company's financial health. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent numerical skills, and possesses a high level of personal organisation.
What you'll do:
- Assist colleagues within the department to perform other financial tasks
- Prepare and process bank deposits and withdrawals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Process and record daily cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Generate invoices for the Sales and Marketing advertising in line with the company tracker
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances and ensure timely collections
- Posting of Sterling invoices
- Travel expenses function and reconciliation
- Weekly payment run
- Investigation and resolution of any credit liabilities
What you bring:
- Computer literate with knowledge of standard PC packages
- Intermediate to high level of Microsoft Excel experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good level of personal organization, time management, multi-tasking and workload prioritization
- Ability to work under pressure & react quickly to change
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent numerical skills and commercial awareness
