Description
- Accurate processing of weekly/monthly payrolls
- Delivering timely reports on payroll metrics
- Calculating SSP, SPP, SMP payments
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries
- Collaborating with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data
- Assisting in payroll audits and liaising with auditors
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll department
- Month end reporting and payments for various weekly payrolls
Profile
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- Have gained experience in a similar payroll position
- Have a strong interest in getting into the payroll industry
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
