Your new role
- Releasing orders once credit checks are completed.
- Setting up new customer accounts.
- Communicating with clients and customers regarding outstanding balances.
- Sending regular statements to clients.
- Monitoring and managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Contacting customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding payments.
- Conducting credit checks on potential customers.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in credit control (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of credit control procedures and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach.
