The Company

Our client is a well-established, independent, property Sales & Lettings company who are well established selling and managing residential properties across Warwickshire & the West Midlands. As the company continues to expand they are looking for a Property Manager to join a busy team managing a growing and varied portfolio.

Training will be provided on the companies own processes and procedures as well as the internal CRM etc used.

Professional development and training will also be provided, both internally by the company and with external professional organisations, to ensure the best possible Property Management service is provided at all times conforming with the latest ARLA guidelines and residential property legislation.

The Role

This varied and interesting role encompasses all aspects of managing a portfolio of high quality AST residential properties, essential duties will include;

  • Handling lettings queries and managing tenants.
  • Handling any maintenance issues, repairs and utilities and scheduling repair jobs.
  • Managing internal databases of rents and tenancies.
  • Scheduling regular site visits and handling property checks.
  • Serving Section 20 notices and assisting with the service charge budgets.
  • Requesting quotations and issuing job instructions to contractors.
  • Managing admin staff and in-house contractors.
  • Sourcing and managing qualified sub-contractors.

Requirements:

You must have previous experience working within Lettings as a Property Manager ideally within Residential lettings or block lettings. This will also mean you have an understanding of letting and leaseholder agreements. You will also have good written and communication skills when liaising with people and clients.

A driving license is required for this role as you will occasionally be required to attend external appointments
