EYFS Lead

Empowering learning are recruiting for an EYFS Lead to work in a primary school in the Oldbury area. The school is a 2-form entry primary school and are looking to take someone on in a temp to perm role and effectively run a strong and close EYFS team.

The school are looking for experience EYFS teachers to apply for this role but encourage strong ECT's to apply as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire pupils in Early years aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Utilize assessment data to track pupil progress, provide targeted support, and ensure all learners make excellent academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of pupils.
  • Be able to run an EYFS Team affectively and producing results.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in EYFS.
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Additional Information:

  • This position is a full-time role, commencing in November 2024 on a Temp to perm basis.
  • Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
