Our client are based in lovely offices near Stansted, with great public transport links. Due to business growth they are recruiting for a Buying Assistant to join their small team.
- Raising orders via the online system
- Ordering / Reconciling and month end Sending orders to suppliers and liaise with site with any issues
- Checking order acknowledgements and prices to purchase order and amending blanket orders if necessary
- Chasing missing deliveries with suppliers.
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure their orders are submitted on time ongoing
- Chase managers for their weekly / monthly submissions
- Completing and pricing alterations forms for approval by directors and contracts managers Daily
You will ideally have:
Confident telephone manner
Willingness to work hard
Attention to detail
Good Excel Skills
Previous experience in a construction environment desirable
Team player
28 days holiday + Christmas shut down
8-5pm Mon to Thurs
8-4 Friday
1 hour lunch
