Senior Finance Systems Administrator

This key position will work closely with the Finance Systems Manager to maintain and develop the core finance system and associated software.

Key responsibilities-

  • Maintain and support the finance system, ensuring SLAs are met and outstanding customer service is provided.
  • Develop and maintain system business processes, understanding stakeholder and operational needs.
  • Coordinate workload and issue prioritisation within the team to reduce risk and provide excellent customer service.
  • Responsible for user access and permissions in line with financial regulations.
  • Lead the development of the finance system and associated software.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes through system improvements and automation.
  • Foster excellent business relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and system users.
  • Plan and deliver an accessible training schedule for the group.
  • Contribute to compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidate-

  • Experience in maintaining and developing systems
  • Knowledge of underpinning technical infrastructure of Finance Systems
  • Proven experience in administering and optimising integrated systems
  • Experience in working with major stakeholders
  • Experience in providing training to system users with different levels of knowledge
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and workflows
  • Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence in engagement with stakeholders
  • Proactivity in suggesting improvements and new methods of working.
