One of the South-West's most successful E-commerce groups is looking for a Senior Web Developer. We are looking for at least 4 years of commercial software development expertise in an e-commerce environment. Shopify development experience will help but above all, you'll be able to demonstrate solid development proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This is a Hybrid role so for three days you will be office-based in South Devon and spend two days a week working remotely.
Role: Senior Web Developer
Location: South Devon - commutable from Exeter, Newton Abbot, Totnes, Torbay and possibly areas East of Plymouth.
Salary: up to £55k p.a. Depending Upon skills and experience

You'll be allowed to run for technical lead on lots of projects and you'll be able to design technical solutions within an E-commerce environment.
We seek the following experience:
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript proficiency
- Familiarity with modern web development techniques and approaches
- App integration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- SEO
- Modern Version control software (i.e. GIT)
If you can demonstrate any of the following it will help:
- Shopify development experience
- Modern JS framework experience (i.e. Vue or React)
- PHP framework experience (i.e. Laravel or symfony)
- Agile or Scrum approaches to software development
- Use of CI/CD pipelines
- Docker experience
- Experience of writing frontend and backend unit and integration tests (PHPUnit/PEST).
