Atlantis Medical have an 8 week booking for a Band 7 Team Leader (Senior Mental Health Nurse)
- To provide day-to-day management support of the multi-disciplinary team in delivering community care to service users.
- To work closely with the Team Manager and other senior workers to develop the Community Mental Health Team.
- To establish strong working relationship with the in-patient Service and other teams
To monitor workload and ensure fair distribution according to the various team roles
- To attend monthly interface meetings and contribute to improving local care pathways.
- To regularly undertake delegated managerial responsibilities and duties, and to deputise for the Team Manager in his/her absence
To undertake complaints and serious incident investigations in accordance with the Trust's Policies.
- To offer regular structured supervision to staff within the team, as well as providing informal support
- To undertake regular caseload scrutiny for categories such as discharge, step down or step up care
- To participate with the Team Manager in staff appraisals.
- To maintain clear, accurate and up-to-date recording of client work.
- To work according to the principles of equal opportunities in all dealings with patients, staff, other professionals and the general public
- To undertake regular audit of client case notes to ensure high standards of delivery of care are achieved and maintained
