Gemini People is recruiting a client based in Leicestershire for a CNC Engineer who manufacture prestige materials to very high-end clients.
It is a family-owned company with around 20 employees, who are a very stable company with an outstanding reputation within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- You will report directly to the production manager.
- Set / Operate equipment to produce products as required.
- Producing production parts to meet business deadlines.
- Adhering to health and safety policies.
- Following and maintaining quality standards.
- Manufacturing products to a micron tolerance.
- Manufacturing Crush Roll and a Hand roll with 146 teeth to fit into a slitting machine.
Experience
- At least 3 - 5 years' experience in an engineering role.
- Preferably worked within a manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing wheels with knives to a micron tolerance.
- Tool Setting
- Tool Management
- Must have experience within product / process development
Beneficial
- Experience with a CNC GER MH C1000 Machine.
- Experience with CNC Fanuc Software.
- Experience with Milling, Turning, Drilling, Routing, Cutting, Grinding
Working hours are :
Monday - Thursday : 07:00 - 15:00
Friday : 07:00 - 14:00
All breaks are paid for. It is a 39 hour working week.
Training is provided but experience is necessary to fit into the full 360 role.
There is also a performance package. If the business deadline has been met you will be able to use the facilities to manufacture your own products. More details will be provided if successful.
Pay rate is dependent on experience.
