Due to an increase in customer demand in our clients business and continued company growth, they are now recruiting for a Senior Quality Auditor to join their team in the Runcorn / Widnes area on a 3-shift position.
This role offers the opportunity to work for a true independent market leader and established global brand. Role Description
- Develop and ensure complete compliance to all food safety and quality standards - HACCP, legislation, ISO, BRC & customer COP's.
- Ensure compliance across all departments through regularly conducted internal audits
- Ensure root cause analysis is undertaken across all departments to facilitate continuous improvement projects and working procedures.
- Assist with complaint investigations, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken
- Assist in the closure of audit non-conformances within the required timescales.
- Perform hygiene checks to ensure standards are maintained.
- Collect and provide data for daily and monthly KPI reports, using this to drive quality improvements across the site.
- Ensuring the positive food safety culture across site
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- FMCG experience advantageous
- Food hygiene/HACCP qualification advantageous.
- Able to work well within a team and on own initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to find areas for improvement.
- Problem solving skills.
- Able to make and communicate decisions.
