We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Team Manager to join a fantastic team in Dorset. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Your new role
- Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services in line with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement team plans and objectives, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, families, and external agencies, to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Manage team resources effectively, including staffing, budgets, and equipment
What you'll need to succeed
- Social Work Degree or equivalent (minimum).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Enhanced DBS check (child and adult/barred).
- Extensive knowledge of fostering regulations and standards.
- Experience managing supported lodgings and post-approval support in fostering.
- Strong understanding of supported lodgings regulations and Ofsted registration.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
