OCM Consultant

The OCM Consultant leads the organisation change management (OCM) readiness activities in collaboration with the local team and country stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of a solution as part of our global business transformation programme.

This role requires regular travel to work closely with colleagues as part of the country deployment roadmap.

Description

  • Leads the delivery of the OCM related deliverables; initially with a strong focus on localisation and assessment of Change Impacts and developing the appropriate business readiness Change Action Plans.
  • Works closely with Country Change Analysts & Country Process Owners to understand and assess the country localisation requirements of new processes and ways of working.
  • Leads the focus on adoption enablers post go live in collaboration with the country change team, local stakeholders and core programme team colleagues.
  • Engages with local country stakeholders to ensure alignment around leadership accountability for end to end OCM.
  • Drives the on-time local delivery and quality of OCM Deliverables and actions. Identifies and supports the resolution of risks and issues, escalating through the governance process as required.
  • Supports the localisation of OCM assets, sharing learnings and best practice from previous deployments.
  • Work with Country teams across wave deployments, as a community, to share ideas and best practice.
  • Identifies change best practice which can be captured as enhancements to the OCM Toolkit.

Profile

  • Change Management : Extensive Experience - good change management knowledge and experience. Applies best practice tools & knowledge to build engagement and deliver programme objectives. Experience in undertaking assessments of the impacts of change, including designing & facilitating impact assessment workshops and associated action plan creation & management. Is seen as a credible source of expertise and advice to leaders on change management issues.
  • Relationship management - builds open, collaborative and supportive relationships at all levels. A highly active senior programme team member.
  • Communication - an influential communicator, able to adapt style to audience and simplify complex messages. Able to articulate the rationale for change and role model the expectations of senior stakeholders.
  • Results Driven - effectively achieves results (to standard, timescale and in budget) within a dynamic environment and recognises the need for urgency & pace when required.
  • Organisation Design & Development - identifies any organisation structure and capability gaps which support full business case realisation and develops solutions and options.
  • Experience of leading, driving and championing organisational and cultural change to deliver business strategy through leading, directing and coaching change teams for large scale, global, multi-site transformation programmes.
  • Track record of successful change programme delivery across a number of projects to standard, time and budget.
  • Experience of developing and deploying change frameworks and creation & continuous improvement of change management practices, tools and processes.
  • Experience of leading and managing change behaviours across leadership teams.
  • Experience of cross-functional alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Understanding and experience of holistic impacts of change and transformation programmes (eg OD)
