Position Summary:
Industrial Quality Inspector - candidates will be working from drawings to ensure that repair and maintenance work of Rolling Stock has been completed to the correct standard. This role will be permanent nights - candidates must be happy to work to this.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Inspection of part / product / train / installation
- Support Improvement of Zero Defect Program
- Reporting of defects & ensure product compliance (check after rework), especially for Special Processes
- Working from Engineering Drawings
- Working with digital measurement tools and equipment
Candidates will have:
- Experience reading drawings / specifications and be familiar with a variety of test equipment
- Rolling Stock / Rail Quality Experience (Desirable)
- Relevant Quality Inspection Experience (4 Years)
