HR APPRENTICE / WORKING FROM HOME / FULL TIME / HERTFORDSHIRE BASED

Starting salary £19,000 – with the potential to achieve twice yearly increases, up to an annual salary of £22,000, PLUS study support with achieving your Level 3 CIPD qualification!

RMG, an established and growing residential property management company, has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Apprentice, to join our small HR Team.

This is a homebased role, and we are looking for candidates with good access to the bus/train/tube network, whilst being conveniently located in or around Hertfordshire, to be able to make visits to our offices in London and the Home Counties area, when required.

What are the apprenticeship requirements? Aside from a genuine interest in Human Resources, we are looking for:

  • A Level (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Great communication skills, comfortable speaking and dealing with colleagues of all levels, face to face or via Microsoft Teams/telephone.
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to manage your own workload to ensure tasks are completed in line with Service Level Agreements; asking for support and taking direction from colleagues when needed.
  • A genuine desire to develop HR experience beyond the admin side of the role e.g. supporting HR Business Partners with Employee Relations cases.
  • A workspace at home where you can work privately and free from interruption.
  • You will need your own reliable wi-fi access, we will provide you with the tools you need to work from home/remotely (i.e. laptop, laptop stand/riser, additional monitor/screen and mobile phone).
  • Experience of working within an administrative role (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)

  • It's an18 to 24-month programme that combines real work with learning and personal development
  • You'll be given the opportunity to spend your time gaining valuable experience and knowledge within the HR environment.
  • You will be able to further your knowledge and experience beyond the administrative/data side of the role, by getting involved in additional HR related tasks.
  • You will also be given the opportunity to study for Level 3 CIPD, following successfully completing your probationary period.

SELECTION PROCCESS:

  1. Applications will be reviewed by our in-house recruiter, and if you're shortlisted at this stage, they will make contact with you to undertake a first stage discussion to explore your application and to discuss the role with you - this may be by telephone or Microsoft Teams.
  2. Candidates shortlisted from this stage will be asked to undertake a second stage discussion/interview (via Teams) with two of our HR Specialists, to explore your interest in HR in more depth.
  3. The third and final stage, comprising of our ‘top 3' candidates, will be to undertake an online psychometric questionnaire and to meet our Head of HR – this final stage may be face to face or via Teams.
