Established in 2013, we have grown into a leading UK based payment services company offering merchant gateway services around the world. With a strong focus on quality of service we provide reliable and scalable payment solutions to businesses.

The Role:

We are experiencing a period of exciting growth and to support this growth we are scaling up our back-office service teams. We have a brand-new position for an enthusiastic and experienced finance administrator.

The successful candidate will be an all-rounder working alongside and supported by our Management Accountant and the rest of the finance team and be responsible for helping to deliver the finance team's deliverables.

The position is based in our Leeds office and includes a combination of office and home working arrangements.

A summary of the role includes but not limited to:

  • Timely Sales invoice preparation.
  • Sales and Purchase ledger processing
  • Manage Customer and Supplier accounts and records.
  • Customer and supplier care and queries
  • Direct debt preparation and administration.
  • Credit control and managing difficult debts.
  • Banking and reconciliation work.
  • Credit card and expenses administration.
  • Contribute to timely month end completion.
  • Assist with office contracts.
  • General Finance/office administration.
  • Assist with annual audit queries.
  • Maintain wider team relationships.
  • Ad-hoc finance analysis.
  • Support for the Management Accountant/Finance Manager/HR Manager

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience of working in a varied roll within an accounts/finance team performing some or most of the above duties.
  • Accounting/booking keeping qualifications desirable but not essential e.g. AAT
  • Personable communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with customers and suppliers via telephone, MS teams and email.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • A team player that is self-motivated with a desire to achieve and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • A multitasker.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience of Sage 50, Xero or similar accounting systems.
  • Solid Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc).

What's on offer:

  • £24,000 to £26,000 PA depending on experience and skillset.
