Merchandiser
- Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000

- Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm
We are seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to join our team. This role involves a high level of coordination with sales offices, quality assurance, and our China office to ensure the smooth running of garment production and delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the critical path, attending key meetings, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Raise Purchase Orders (PO's) with the sales office and follow up with sales contracts to ensure they are signed on time.
- Liaise with sales offices daily to monitor and manage production processes.
- Communicate with the China office to follow up on approval samples, pre-production, and shipment samples.
- Work closely with the in-house Quality Assurance (QA) technologist or customers' technologists for regular fit assessments.
- Update and manage the critical path to ensure all milestones are met.
- Attend pre-production sample approval meetings and address bulk quality issues.
- Monitor garment delivery schedules and coordinate with shipping for bulk shipments.
- Obtain weekly production status updates from sales offices and communicate this information to the team and customers.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required to support the merchandising team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a merchandising role, preferably within the garment or fashion industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a critical path.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills to effectively work with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work proactively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software for tracking and reporting.
