We are working with a reputable company based in Shrewsbury who require an Electrical Design Engineer. The position is a permanent role paying up to £45,000 + Benefits.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday - Full Time
Key Reponsibilities:
- Designing initial concept design
- Working on PLC, HMI and SCADA software
- Efficiently use CAD software to create Electrical Schematic Diagrams
- Producing all required technical documents
- Develop PLC wiring diagrams when required
- Panel layouts
- Machine safety circuit design and risk assessments
Key Requirements:
- Good understanding of PLC, HMI and SCADA software
- Siemens PLC knowledge preferable but knowledge of other similar systems considered
- Strong electrical knowledge is essential
- Must be Proficient in CAD
- Able to understand electrical drawings
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability are essential
- System Design experience (3 years)
- Electrical Engineering experience (5 years)
