Cybersecurity Lecturer

We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Lecturer to deliver a Level 3 Cybersecurity course as part of an intensive 12-week bootcamp. This role involves teaching a group of adult learners, with a blend of face-to-face sessions in Central London and online classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and a passion for teaching and developing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons on cybersecurity topics, ensuring that all course material is covered within the 12-week timeframe.
- Conduct face-to-face lectures as well as online sessions, providing a consistent and effective learning experience across both platforms.
- Prepare course materials, including presentations, reading assignments, and practical exercises.
- Assess and evaluate learners' progress through assignments, tests, and feedback sessions.
- Provide guidance and support to learners, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and incorporate relevant updates into the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of the field's principles and practices.
- Previous teaching or training experience, particularly in a bootcamp or intensive course setting.
- Ability to deliver both face-to-face and online instruction effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Flexibility to start the bootcamp in either early November or early January 2025.
