Job Title: Apprenticeship Programmes Assessor (Leadership and Management)

Location: Home/Central London

Working pattern: Hybrid (ONCE A MONTH in office)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time 35 hours per week

Salary: £32,982 - £40,521 per annum

The apprenticeship team currently offer six degree apprenticeship in Business, Computing and Computer and Health and are currently expanding in other areas.

The role:

The role of the Apprenticeship Programmes Assessor will be to manage a new caseload of 80+ degree apprentices in leadership and management from August. This role is pivotal in supporting and developing our apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with ESFA and Ofsted regulations, and contributing to the growth and success of our apprenticeships.

All assessments are conducted remotely from the comfort of your own home and you will be required to travel onsite ONCE a month to Central London.

As the Apprenticeship Programmes Assessor your responsibilities include:

  • Assess and provide feedback for apprenticeship program evidence
  • Manage the End-point Assessment process
  • Organise Tripartite reviews in accordance with ESFA funding rules
  • Support monthly progress reports and maintain learner compliance

To be successful in the role you will require:

  • Experience as an Assessor is essential, previous FE experience is highly suitable for this role, which does not include delivery/teaching of the program, however sound assessment skills are required
  • Sound understanding of management skills and knowledge is required, this can be from previous roles or delivery of standards at Level 5
  • Assessor award (TAQA, V1, D32/33 or equivalent)
  • Leadership/Management related NVQ level 5 or equivalent
  • PTLSS or equivalent teaching qualification
