Your new opportunity

William Quarriers Scottish Epilepsy Centre is currently recruiting a full time Registered Nurse to assist senior staff in the day to day management of patients in the assessment unit and ensure this work is in line with organisational policies and procedures. You will work with a team of clinical professionals ensuring the patients are receiving the best care during their assessment.

As a Registered Nurse you will lead on the implementation of the nursing process, develop specialised programmes of care and monitor the overall patient experience while liaising with each individual and their families.

Working pattern: This is a full time, permanent role offering 39 hours per week.

What you will need to bring to the role

  • Registered Nurse Registration status maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Experience of working with people with epilepsy, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, learning disabilities or challenging behaviour.
  • Ability to lead and develop training programmes geared to the needs of appropriate colleagues and volunteers.
  • Ability to supervise and train support staff
