Quality Manager / QA Manager

My Client is a well-established independent Food Manufacturer based in a beautiful location near Andover. They are now seeking a Quality Manager / QA manager to join their team
Quality Manager Key responsibilities will include:
- Line management of the QA function within the business
- Implementing, embedding and monitoring systems and procedures
- Ensuring microbiological, water quality and other necessary food safety testing is conducted to meet customer requirements and support with corrective actions.
- Managing taste panels, communicating results to the relevant departments and supporting in the drive to identify and rectify controllable quality issues
- Supporting with process validations and manage the calibration schedule.
- Assisting with customer complaints investigations.
- Supporting and promoting an improved food safety and quality culture
Quality Manager Skills / Experience Required:
- A Strong Food Safety and Quality background
- A good understanding of HACCP (level 3 or above qualification), BRC, hygiene and internal auditing is essential.
- Educated to a degree level in a food related discipline
- Level 4 Food Safety Certificate
- Experience working with the main retailers
Quality Manager Salary and Benefits:
