Food Marketing Manager

Our client

Nigel Wright are currently working with an established food manufacturing and retail business that is looking to recruit a Marketing Development Manager to work on launching new products to market. This is a fantastic opportunity, within the world of FMCG, for someone ready for a new challenge, working in a tight knit team where culture is important.

Role objectives

1. To identify and develop profitable consumer-centric product propositions under the brand umbrella to sell within the UK market.

2. To develop marketing strategies and implementation plans to establish new products within the UK marketplace and develop a growing and loyal consumer following.

Responsibilities

  • To identify and implement new commercially viable product opportunities
  • To work closely with the Sales team and other key stakeholders to gain buy-in, support and follow through with the effective sales execution of new business opportunities
  • To evaluate target markets gaps and marketing strategies to support launch plans and ongoing sales
  • To implement effective marketing and PR support for the brand, measured against set KPIs.

About you

You will have food industry experience within marketing and ideally NPD, as well as good commercial skills and understanding of product margins and launch plans.

You will be an excellent relationship builder, alongside having strong presentation skills at all levels of a business (internal and external)
