International Case Manager

We are excited to partner with a leading Insurance specialist based in Brighton, looking to expand their International Case Handler Team. As an International Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting claimants by providing professional advice and resolving medical and travel insurance issues with empathy and expertise.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support and understand claimants' needs to offer professional advice and solve insurance issues empathetically.
  • Validate cover with third-party insurers, including issue/cover dates, excesses, medical screening, and optional cover add-ons.
  • Liaise with hospitals, medical centres, and third-party agents for cost containment.
  • Arrange international repatriations, including taxis, flights, hotels, road ambulances, air ambulances, and assigning flight medics.
  • Provide translation and linguistic services.
  • Send guarantee of payments (GOPs) to third parties.
  • Ensure claims are validated in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant policy wording.
  • Monitor and maintain consistent workflow updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated with a strong customer focus and the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Advanced level of English for effective communication with claimants, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, proactively, and with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in a second language, ideally Greek, French, German, or Italian.
  • Degree-level education is preferred.

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
  • Shifts are usually 5 x 8 hours or 4 x 10 hours, with fully trained staff required to work some night shifts and weekends.
