Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), you will play a crucial role in the repair process. You will assess using Audatex to calculate the costing and time required to complete all repairs accurately, professionally, and to the highest manufacture standards.

About you:

A highly experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor with a commercial outlook, committed to excellence, with an eye for detail and customer focus. You will be seeking a position where you can make a difference, constantly learn new things and be at the forefront of technology. You will have proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, or a similar role in the automotive repair industry. You will be proficient and confident in using relevant software, such as Audatex, for estimating and assessment purposes, as well as a strong understanding of vehicle repair techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of damaged vehicles and provide accurate repair estimates,
  • Utilise your technical expertise to identify the correct repair methods, as well as the cost and time scale, to produce comprehensive repair plans.
  • Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and internal teams to ensure all repair work and costs are authorised and issues are resolved quickly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build and maintain positive relationships with customers and insurance companies.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of damage assessments, estimates, and repair progress.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure that health and safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.
